An untethered charge point looks clean when it is not in use. The customer simply connects their own Type 2 lead between the car and the charger whenever they need to charge, and stores it away afterwards. ## Planning for a coastal property Properties around Fleetwood and the Fylde Coast take a lot of wind-driven rain and salt-laden air, so charger selection, positioning, cable entries and external connections all need extra thought if the installation is going to last. Our team chose a suitably sheltered, weather-rated location and planned the cable route to keep the equipment accessible while keeping the finish neat. The charger was mounted securely and supplied from a dedicated EV circuit, with every exterior cable entry properly finished and sealed as part of the installation. ## Testing and handover With the physical installation complete, our electrician tested the circuit and the charge point, then demonstrated its operation to the customer.
